Svarka-Welding Exhibition is one of the biggest events in Russia dedicated to showcasing a full spectrum of metal forming, fabricating, and welding equipment and technology. Within its 40 year history, Svarka-Welding has taken the leading position among other large industrial forums in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries. It is now regarded as a very important event, targeted to develop the Russian welding industry and aim for the modernization of the industrial sector of the Russian economy and its rapid technical advancement.

Polymet will focus on exhibiting its high performance industrial line of hardfacing and welding wire as well as emphasizing the quality of its thermal spray products. Description

Polymet Corporation is a manufacturer of wire for hardfacing, welding and thermal spraying.  We are looking for an independent, detail oriented individual for a 2nd shift position.  Must be a fast learner and able to work on your own with little instruction once trained.  Collect, maintain and analyze quality related data, performs inspection on incoming material.  Maintain all quality records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with measuring devices i.e. micrometers, calipers etc.
• Experience driving a forklift or capable of being trained and passing a forklift driving test is required.
• A two year college degree or equivalent work experience, ability to read and understand aerospace specifications, and technical aptitude are required.
• Experience in an aerospace company and receiving materials is a plus.
• A drug, background and driving record check will be done prior to employment.

Pay is commensurate with experience.  Benefits include:  Health, Life & Disability Ins., Pension Plan, 401(k), and annual Profit Sharing program.

Polymet Corporation, a leading manufacturer of hardfacing wire, welding and thermal spray wire, will be traveling to Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia in early March 2012 to support its aerospace, valve and thermal spray wire business in these markets.

Hardfacing Wire Manufacturer Polymet Corporation Will Visit Customers and Distributors in Japan and Korea

Polymet Corporation, a leading producer of hardfacing wire, welding wire and thermal spray wire, will be traveling to Japan and South Korea in early December 2011 in order to support its aerospace, lumber, valve and thermal spray wire business in these markets.  Working together with local distributors and representatives enable the company to expand its global reach and promote its product lines in Asia.

Danny Newman, hot extruded wire sales manager at Polymet who will be traveling to Japan and Korea will be working with companies on the cutting edge of laser welding technology as they use Polymet’s unique ability to produce ultra-fine (0.3mm) cobalt alloys to laser weld micro cracks in aerospace gas turbine engine components.  Polymet has supplied alloys like PMET 906, a Stellite 6 equivalent and PMET 994 (PWA 694) into the Japanese laser welding market to repair cracks and defects in components on a small precision scale as well as meet with other distributors and end users of Polymet’s wire.
